Services Available

Salem Free Medical Clinic provides basic medical care/mental health services. We are able to help with sports physicals for students if the children are uninsured. We have dietitians available at some clinics to assist patients with ways to adjust their diets to facilitate healthy lifestyles.

We partner with two programs in Marion County:

  • MedAssist works to assist patients with obtaining their medication at no charge for meds that are not on $4 program.
  • Project Access works to supplement the services we offer with access to a team of specialists in our community.

SFMC also partners with Salem Hospital and their Charity Care program to facilitate lab work/imaging, etc. at no/minimal cost to the patients.

We are in process of developing Specialty Clinics based on a chronic care model to better support our patients. These clinics are only available to patients of SFMC and referrals will be made by our providers at the acute care clinics.

  • Diabetic Clinic is ongoing
  • Pediatric Clinic is in process with anticipated start in March 2011 for undocumented children or other children without health insurance. All children that are residents of Oregon/documented do qualify for OHP/Healthy Kids.
